This special coffee comes from Nariño, a region in Southern Colombia which boarders Ecuador. This part of Colombia has their primary harvest during the spring whereas the majority of Colombia coffee is harvested during the winter months. Coffees from Nariño are high altitude and grown in volcanic soil. This particular lot has flavors of toffee, apple, and pear and is balanced and sweet. Common coffee varietals found in the area are Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia.
